Covid-19 Studio Policies
We have had a wonderful summer of in-person and virtual dance camps and classes with appropriate social distancing and extensive health and safety precautions in place.
Our first semester registration is open. Our semester will run from Setpember 14, 2020 - November 29th, 2020. Due to updated safety guidelines and procedures, class capacity will be limited. Registration is now open for all dance programs on a first come first serve basis - sign up soon to secure your spot! Our season will then begin in December, 2020 and run until June, 2021 with a Spring Recital.
Below is a video showing you what the expectations are upon entering the studio. Also a few quick guidelines and safety measures.
-We will require dancers to enter the studio with masks on. Masks when dancing are not mandatory for students. Teachers will be wearing masks when teaching.
-Parents are asked to wear a mask and walk their dancer to Suite 3. Parents are not allowed to enter the building. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. We understand that our youngest dancers may need a parent/guardian.
-Students will have their temperature checked upon entry.
-Parents will be asked health screening questions upon entry for their child.
-Students will sanitize hands using our wall mounted hand sanitizers before entry into each class room.
-Students will be assigned to a "dance space" with social distance measures taken.
-Students are asked to bring in only the dance shoes they are required for class and a water bottleupon entry. For dancers under the age of 9, we ask that they use a backpack for their dance shoes. This will make it a little easier to sanitize their hands.
-Students may be asked to leave the studio in between classes if they have a long break. Depending on each dancers schedule, we can accomodate students staying in the building during breaks if communicated with the studio owners.
-Studios and equipment will be cleaned between each class.
We know that as students re-enter the dance studio, this will be a new way for them. We will continue to provide comfort and joy for our students. Our teachers are ready and eager to welcome returning and new students.
Keeping our staff, dancers and their families safe is our top priority. If you have any questions, please call the studio at 585-364-3136 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your continued patience and understanding through this time. We appreciate everyone's commitment to safety. We can't wait to see you in class.
