Dance Abilities Classes
About the class:
We now have individual classes that are designed for young teen/adults ages 13 years and older with disabilities and special needs. Students will discover various musical genres, learn basic dance steps, learn choreography, explore rhythm, sing and participate in movement games to encourage social development, physical fitness and gross motor development. Through simple patterns, sequencing and repetition, students will gain balance, express emotion, and gain muscle control, all while having fun and making new friends. Dance encourages imagination, creativity, confidence and self-esteem in a fun and musical driven atmosphere.
These classes would be held at our studio, and based upon interest. If you or a loved one is interested in taking a class like this, please contact us and we can create a time for you!
